Acting as a Catalyst for Up-skilling

The network is committed to acting as the catalyst to implement and look for ways and means to address up-skilling of operatives and supervisors in the industry. In that respect, under a recent additional call by Skillnets Ltd – Future Skills Needs Programme; the network applied for and was successful in receiving funding to implement the up-skilling strategy amongst its membership and wider/growing membership base.

The strategic intent of the programme is to up-skill current and future employees, including job-seekers (subject to egibility criteria), in order to support the competitiveness of member companies, sustain and increase market growth, maximize exports, enhance employment opportunities for job-seekers and to enable companies within the sectors to make a significant contribution to the national economy.
