Financial Savvy for Food Entrepreneurs - From Concept to Profitable Product
This intensive, hands-on workshop is tailored for food industry entrepreneurs at the early or growth stages. It covers the key components of creating a profitable product, from feasibility assessments to setting the ideal price point. Participants will gain insights into financial planning, market research, and pricing strategies, along with practical exercises that will help solidify their understanding.

• Feasibility study: we will discuss the key factors within a feasibility study.
• Costing calculator – What is a cost calculator and why it is needed.
• Retail Pricing Strategy – Setting your product at the right price point
• One to One Expert Access – 1 Hour 1:1 expert access included outside of dedicated workshop time.
Fees and Funding
The fee for this workshop is €235 per participant, and €95 for those eligible for funding from Taste 4 Success Skillnet. This discounted price for the programme is supported by Taste 4 Success Skillnet and is available to all eligible applicants.
Eligibility Criteria
• Participating businesses must be from private enterprise based in the Republic of Ireland
• Start up/artisan/sole traders are eligible if based and operating in the Republic of Ireland
• Taste 4 Success Skillnet can only fund a Member Company. Member Company means an eligible/approved artisan, micro, SME, sole trader, indigenous, multinational or other eligible company registered and operating in the Republic of Ireland
• Employees of member companies attending the programme(s) must be resident/living in the Republic of Ireland and be employed by a Member Company
• As a government-funded training network, we can only support those meeting the above criteria.
